The Degree of Practicing Moral Leadership by Secondary School Principals and its Relation to their Organizational as Perceived by Educational Supervisors


Abstract | الملخص

This study aimed to identify the degree of secondary schools managers in Jordan for Ethical leadership and its relationship with the level of practicing for organizing values through the view of educational supervisors. The sample of this study consisted of (300) male and female supervisors in eight schools of governmental directorate of Education in Jordan. The data were collected through questionnaire of ethical leadership and a questionnaire of organizing values. The results showed that the degree of secondary schools managers in Jordan for ethical leadership from the viewpoint of supervisors was moderate, and the level of managers' practicing from the viewpoint of supervisors was also moderate. There is a significant difference at level (α=0.05) between the degree of ethical leadership of managers and the level of their organizing values based on variable of gender. On the other hand, there is no significant differences in the level of managers' practicing. Also, no significant differences in the level managers' practicing for their organizing values due to the variable of gender and the experience of superior.
