This study aimed to investigate the impact of a training program based on Science Education Enhancement and Development (SEED) in the development of cognitive skills of science teachers and their attitudes towards it. A purposeful sample was selected which consisted of (60) teachers in the educational directorate of Marca. A scale of teaching skills and a questionnaire have been prepared, and their reliability and validity have been established. The results showed that there are a statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) in the mean scores between the pre-test and the post-test in the teaching skills and the total score, in favor of the dimensional application, and there is a statistically significant differences in the mean scores at (0.05) between the pre- test and the post-test in favor of the post -test. Based on these results, the study recommended that science teachers should be trained on SEED program and further studies should be conducted to investigate the effect of training science teachers on students’ achievement.
