This study aimed to investigate the degree of appropriateness of the first three classes teacher’s competencies to achieve quality standards in mathematics textbooks at Saudi Arabia. The researcher used analytical descriptive approach, (140) teachers of the first three class in Al Riyadh were selected randomly in the scholastic year (2015/2016). A Questionnaire were developed to collect data, the researcher established its validity and reliability which reached (0.86). Means and (T-test) were used to analyze the data. The results showed that the degree of appropriateness of the teacher’s competencies were high and enough to achieve quality standards in mathematics at Saudi Arabia in all quality domain: Planning competencies, instructor competencies, evaluation competencies, classroom management competencies and Personal competencies. The researcher recommended that school supervisor role should be effective in embedding quality culture in schools.
