The study aimed to identify the role of Najran University in achieving the knowledge economy concept as seen by a sample of faculty members (200, Ph. D. and Master) according to qualification, faculty type (scientific/humanistic), and teaching experience variables. A questionnaire was designed to monitor this reality. It was composed of 73 items distributed on eight elements. The reliability and validity of the study tool was verified. The study results showed that the Najran University role in achieving the knowledge economy concept was moderate with a mean equals (1.72). The results showed also that there are five elements had moderate level, The other three elements had weak level. The study also found that there were no statistically significant differences due to the qualification, the type of faculty, and teaching experience variables. The study recommends that these elements need more efforts to achieve the knowledge economy concept at the Najran University.
