The Degree of Using Knowledge Society Strategies by Mathematics' Teachers at the Ministry of Education Schools in Jordan


Abstract | الملخص

This study aims to identify the degree of using knowledge society strategies by mathematics teachers at the Ministry of Education schools in light of gender, Years of experiences, and school type variables. The study sample consists of 216 mathematics teachers. The results of the study reveals that using strategies of the knowledge society by mathematics' teachers is moderate, and the most strategy is used among mathematics' teachers is teamwork strategy . Whereas, the less frequently strategy is used evaluation-based performance one. The results also show a presence of statistically significant differences for the following variables; gender, Years of experience, and the type of school in favour of female mathematics teachers with more than 10 years experiences working in private schools. In light of the findings, the researcher recommends that there must be an interest in building training programs based on knowledge society strategies for teachers
