The Effect of Using Projects Strategy on the Development of Reflective Thinking Skills among the Students of Principles of Physical Education Class in Al-Hussein Bin Talal University (AHU)

Abstract | الملخص

This study aimed at identifying the effect of using projects strategy on developing reflective thinking among the students of principles of physical education class in AHU. The study sample consisted of (105) students who were randomly chosen and distributed on two groups: a control group (52) students، and an experimental group (53) students. The researcher used the quasi-experimental approach. He developed a tool to measure reflective thinking in three domains: before work، during work، and after work. After determining the validity and reliability of the study tool، it was applied on a pilot sample. The results showed that there was a statistically significant effect of using projects strategy on reflective thinking. The results also showed that there was no statistically significant effect of the variable college or the interaction between the projects strategy and college on the development of reflective thinking. In light of the study results، the researcher recommends using the projects strategy in teaching principles of physical education due to its role in developing reflective thinking. The researcher also recommends conducting similar studies on using other strategies in teaching principles of physical education and their impact on reflective thinking
