The aim of the study was to assess the children psychological counseling services provided by the social welfare institutions at the Ministry of Social Affairs in Jordan, by the beneficiaries themselves and the service providers during the period of October, 2014 to February, 2015, The sample of the study consisted of (40) counselor, and (60) children aged from 10 to 18 years old from the social welfare institutions. The study results showed that the status of the counseling services provided to children was in the intermediate level according to counselor opinion, while it was at the low level according to the children opinion. In light of the study results, the researcher concluded with the recommendations to conduct further studies related to abused children by examining more variables and new samples. The results of this study can be used to develop counseling and therapeutic services that aim to re-merge the abused children in the community.
